Army Begins Construction of Two-Classroom School Building in Camarines Norte

 

 

CAMP ELIAS ANGELES, Pili, Camarines Sur –The Philippine Army in Camarines Norte with partner-stakeholders will finally begin the construction of one unit, two classroom school building in San Antonio High School in Brgy San Antonio, Capalonga, Camarines Norte, during a simple but meaningful ground breaking ceremony, 9:00 am today, November 10.

The program was attended by local government officials, school faculty and students, the military and the benevolent ABS-CBN Kapamilya Foundation which will provide the construction materials. With a construction team augmented from the 565th Engineer Construction Battalion, Philippine Army, the 902nd Infantry Brigade under Col Amador T Tabuga Jr, in Bayanihan program with the local community hopes to completethe building within 30 days.

A “Bayanihan” concept will also introduce in this project wherein parents or relatives of the students and civilian volunteers can join in the construction works. This additional classroom building can help a lot to the students as primary recipients of this project. They could no longer experience to have a class under the sun or under the tree or in a place not conducive for learning.

The 9ID, under the new leadership of Brig. Gen. Ferdinand F. Quidilla will continue in this undertakings and provide sincere services to the Bicolano.
