2019 midterm polls, ‘most peaceful’ elections conducted in Southern Luzon--AJSCC

 

 

CAMP ELIAS ANGELES, Pili, Camarines Sur – The 2019 Midterm Elections on May 13 was considered as the most peaceful elections the Area Joint Security Coordinating Center (AJSCC) declared during the after elections conference conducted in Legazpi City.

 

At the AJSCC Assessment Meeting last May 21, 2019 held in the Convention Center in Legazpi City, COMELEC lauded the security measures laid down by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) before, during and after the elections. 

 

According to COMELEC, due of the well-crafted security plan, good coordinations and cooperation between the tasked units to safeguard the political activities, the goal of an orderly and safe midterm polls was achieved.

 

The meeting was attended by top officials Philippine National Police (PNP) from Region IV-A (CALABARZON); Region IV-B (MIMARO), Region V (Bicol) and Joint Task Force Bicolandia.

 

Prior to this, Maj. Gen. Fernando Trinidad, Commander of Joint Task Force Bicolandia already thanked all its units for proving their readiness to always secure their respective area of responsibilities which was instrumental in preventing any attack from the lawless elements. 

The AJSCC firmly believed that with proper planning, excellent execution, intensified coordination and support from the public, the success of its future endeavors will always be possible.
